Couldn’t get Mom to update my blog yesterday, and she really had a lot of time because it was raining almost all day. She left me alone in Adrienne for several hours and that’s not fun, I get nervous when it rains because sometimes thunder starts and that’s very scary.She had to go in to town (without me ? ) to take care of lots of important business ............bank, and some offices I ‘m not allowed in to ...........what’s up with that ? I know how to behave and never make a fuzz where ever we go.

Mom came home with a new comforter and new duvet ? I didn’t notice anything wrong with the old one, but she claims these are warmer and much prettier..............guess I couldn’t argue about that.

   Today Mom got the TV going, for the first time, why didn’t she do that yesterday when it was raining all day???  I would have felt less lonley while she was out .................oh well

Sunday we went to a nice mansion for "FIKA" ( a very important Swedish word I've  learned which means coffee and a sweet )

the place was almost deserted because it was raining, but that didn't stop us, it was very quaint.........

there was self serve, hard to choose among all these old fashion stuff. As usual Mom think everything is too small............like itty bitty cups and spoons.....

We decided to sit outside on the patio despite the rain. We squeezed in under an umbrella and blankets were provided.

Mom sure enjoyed this cinnamon bun

It turned out to a great day after all, and very evening we are invited for supper that Lotta makes, she’s a fabulous cook, and Mom can’t help herself from eating too much. I steal cat food as often as I get a chance .............Mom has an eagle eye so I have to be real sneaky, but I manage to get a mouthful now and than.

 

 

       

This is Freyja, and she was married to a god named Ode, whom she loved deeply, but he left for long journeys, so Freyja cried golden tears for him...

There was small sheds where the people kept their bicycles, ( EVERYBODY rides bikes here ) MOm loved the plantings on the roof.

Cats on the window sill does not have anything to do with the theme, at least Mom don't think so,

it's real neat though.

Don't know anything about this bird either, any of my readers know ?

It's almost 2 PM, and we haven't had lunch yet.....................

It hasn't been easy to get Mom to help me with my story, because now Mom got a book that completely mesmerized her. The author is from her puppy town and the story is about a woman's life and struggles to live in Northern Sweden from 1896 to 1985. ...

Ever since we arrived in Mom's puppy town she's been sleeping later and later in the mornings, this morning she didn't get up until 7.30, that's a record. I think she's reminiscing back to her teens? Here I'm running after the ball at the same fiel...
